7. During laser processing, most sheet materials will produce smoke and particulate matter. For example, heavy metal suspended particles will be produced when processing metals, which can harm human organs and tissues. Therefore, it is necessary to understand in advance the properties of the processed materials and the byproducts that may be produced after the laser interacts with the material, evaluate their impact on health, and take necessary protective measures.
8. Ensure that the house where the fiber laser cutting machine is placed is well ventilated. A strong exhaust and ventilation device needs to be installed indoors. If the pollutant emission is large, a filter device needs to be installed to avoid polluting the atmospheric environment.
9. After the laser and metal materials act, the metal materials will retain a lot of heat. Do not touch the processed materials immediately to prevent burns.
10. If an abnormality occurs during the processing, the machine should be stopped immediately and the fault should be eliminated in time.
Safety precautions for operators after using the fiber laser cutting machine
- After the operation is completed, the laser high voltage should be turned off and the speed multiplier switch should be lowered to zero to avoid harm caused by misoperation by idle personnel.
- After the operation is completed, the power supply should be turned off, the gas valve should be closed, the work site should be cleaned, and the laser cutting equipment should be maintained on a daily basis.
